Born in Southern California, eldest of six, Mario Hernandez, with two brothers begat the celebrated comic, “Love and Rockets”. Encouraged by his mother, a life of collecting and studying comics along with an appreciation for storytelling, he has worked on various projects for different publishers. This is his first non-comics foray. He lives in San Francisco with his awesome wife and daughter.
